During these last cold, gloomy days of winter, preparing a colorful pick me up of Limoncello is just the ticket! This recipe is from my godmother who not only was kind enough to share her recipe with me but gave me a bottle of her Limoncello as a Christmas gift. What a nice idea! You might want to consider this as well. Not only is making the Limoncello a pleasure but dressing it up in a cute and festive bottle is also fun.

I always wanted to make my own limoncello. That cream of limoncello sounds and looks heavenly too, never heard of it.
Hi Mani! Yes….the creamy kind is sooo good…..
Hi Diana. Nice blog. I have been following L´s blog and she suggested I check yours. Good job. The first thing that cought my eye was this recepie. I have a tree full of lemons and no idea what to do with them apart from old fashioned limonade. Also…I have a bottle of good quality polish vodka which will come handy in this recepie. Ok…I´m off to pick the lemons. This lemon tree is not strictly mine. It´s my neighbour´s but she made it crystal clear that the fruit on my side of the fence is mine…..This year it seems like three quarters of the lemons are on my side!!!!!! Take care.
Hi Anna!!! Great to hear from you!!! Yes! Loving this limoncello…my godmother makes big batches and then gives them for xmas gifts! Such a cute idea. You can also use oranges…so if you have some orange trees, let me know and I will send you the recipe….or even do a post. Thanks for the comment…..take care!
Nice! I’ve always wondered how to make that:)
Thanks! Yes….lucky me to have a godmother who makes all kinds of yummy stuff and gives me her recipes!
